Malaysia Beaches – with Wired Destinations
There are thousands of pristine Malaysia beaches, ranging from white powdery stretches of sand on the eastern coastline to the black sand beach of Pantai Pasir Hitam and the equally fascinating beaches of Pantai Batu Kerikil in Langkawi. As Malaysia is usually known for its hot and humid climate, there are many exclusive and superbly run Malaysia hotels and resorts along the coastline that offer excellent facilities and dining options. There are literally over a thousand Malaysia beaches. Some of the most famous beaches with scenic views and crystal clear water are located in Langkawi, an island of legendary beauty on the western coast. In Langkawi, some of the best budget Langkawi hotels and excellent water sport facilities can be found. Pantai Centang, Pantai Tengah and Pantai Datai are the most favorite beaches here. The best time for a visit is from November to late April, when the humidity is lower with minimal rainfall. Perenthian Island is also recommended. It is said to be one of the best retreats in the country and is popular with the budget Malaysia traveler.
On the west coast, Emerald Bay is also on the list of top Malaysia beaches. It is a small island bordered by a backdrop of lavish jungle hills. This crescent shaped bay has a long stretch of soft golden sand and emerald-green water. Widely known as one of the finest Malaysia beaches, Emerald Bay has a surprisingly large number of seafood restaurants and is within easy reach of your Kuala Lumpur hotel.
Off to the far eastern island. Sabah has plenty of gorgeous beaches, many of which can be reached easily from Kota Kinabalu/ Sabah hotels. Tanjung Aru beach is a popular destination, with unspoiled landscapes and an abundance of marine life. With clear waters and high visibility, colorful reefs and marine species, Sabah diving locations make some of the best in Malaysia. You can also hop on a speedboat and spend a 20-minute ride to reach Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, which hosts some excellent beaches and a diverse of marine life.
Golden Beach and Turtle Beach in Similanjau National Park will never disappoint you during your visit at a Sarawak hotel. Comprised of over 30 km of white, sandy Malaysia beaches and with numerous wildlife and tropical jungles, crocodiles, monkeys, gibbons, rare birds and a lot more can be spotted here. The best months to visit these two Malaysia beaches are from early April to mid September, when the sky is clear with low chances of rainfall. Average temperature is from 24° to 30°C and high humidity. Arguably the worst time is during the monsoon season between October and March.
Do avoid Malaysia beaches November through February as there seem to be prevalent rainfall and a rough tide. Be sure to book your preferred Malaysia hotel well in advance for the high season (June to August). As for water sports equipment, you can rent snorkeling and diving gear on all Malaysia beaches and enjoy quality time amidst a peaceful ambience here in Malaysia.
